Description:
Nanocs SnapLink Biotin NHS is an amine reactive derivative of biotin. Biotin binds to avidin, streptavidin and neutravidin with high affinity. Biotin NHS is the most common biotinylation reagent used widely for proteins, antibodies and many other substrates biotinylation. N-hydroxysuccinimide esters of biotin react efficiently with primary amine groups (-NH2) in alkaline buffer (pH 7-9). Biotin NHS is a membrane permeable biotinylation reagent and can be used for intracellular labeling. NHS-Biotins enable simple and efficient biotinylation of antibodies, proteins and any other primary amine-containing biomolecules in solution. Nanocs provides high purity biotin and its derivatives for various biotinylation and bioassay applications.
